About Us 

Our dream was to find and renovate an old house in Tzfat. We wanted to create a home away from home, a place that could comfortably accommodate a large family. Our vision was to make this space both warm and inviting but also luxurious and completely private. 

And that is exactly what we did. Here, in the heart of the magical and ancient city of Tzfat, located in perfect proximity to the various natural, spiritual and historical tourist sites, artist galleries, commercial establishments, restaurants and coffee shops. The comfort of home with the luxury of a hotel, complete with accessible parking and incredible views. 

The Spirit of Tzfat Villa is a luxurious vacation setting in one of Israel’s most spiritual locales. The only guesthouse of its size in Tzfat, it is ideal for groups or large families that want to stay together while also ensuring privacy for each individual couple or family unit, an intimate experience that cannot be found elsewhere.  

 
My Story

My name is Simcha and I manage the Spirit of Tzfat Villa. I am 40 years old, wife to Shai and mother to 5 children. Our family loves all kinds of music and all kinds of people. I am a tour guide and photographer and I also work with nature, farming, the environment, education and various spiritual and awareness-centered modalities. 

I am crazy about Tzfat. My work here is motivated by a deep love for people, for the city, for tourism and for travelling. I am always interested in and delighted about the incredible personal connections that I make through managing the Villa; I am blown away by the haven that we have created here and I am extraordinarily grateful to the Holy One for it all.  

 
The Spirit of Tzfat Villa 

Tzfat is a fascinating area full of seeming contradictions, where old meets new, tradition meets progress, and simplicity meets luxury, from its ancient history to the fascinating cultural encounters that take place daily in its streets and the scent of spirituality enveloping it from every direction.   

The Spirit of Tzfat Villa is found in an enchanting neighborhood that is home to a variety of buildings, from brand-new construction, to houses built in the time of the British Mandate, to structures erected in the Ottoman era, and even a fortress built by Crusaders as part of their provincial city established just above Tzfat. The Villa is located on HaPalmach Street, so named because it was from this street that the Palmach Brigade entered the city during the liberation of Tzfat in 1948 in one of the many battles fought for the State of Israel’s independence. 

The view from our street is nothing short of breathtaking in all directions, from the waters of the Kinneret to Mount Canaan, a combination of city and nature that is unique to Tzfat. We are located just above the local Wednesday market and pedestrian mall where most of the city’s businesses and stores can be found; a 10 minute walk from the artists’ quarter, alley of galleries, and old cemetery; and a 5 minute walk from historical synagogues and important sites.
